The building features an extremely energy-efficient envelope, including triple-pane glass, ultra-high efficiency HVAC and DHW systems, and a 34 kW rooftop solar array, generating an estimated 104% of the modeled annual energy use.
At 3 stories tall, the building features 12 one-bedroom/one bath units, averaging 589 SF each. Unit layouts are designed to optimize access to natural light and minimize noise transference. Relatively large bedrooms feature generous closet space, the bathrooms include operable windows, and the combined kitchen and living room space benefits from large windows on two sides, a unique indirect LED lighting design, and a ceiling fan to function as first-stage cooling. Each unit also features oversized balconies/patios, providing residents with ample private outdoor space.
